中文摘要 | 客家研究在臺灣已經成為顯學,客家(Hakkaology)自二十世紀發展以後,歷經不同情境與環境,今日臺灣客家語文與客家學術研究,自臺灣政治解嚴、政黨輪替,走向民主化之後,日益受到民間與政府的重視,就連大專院校都設有客家學院相關系所或客家研究中心,使得臺灣的客家研究邁入一個新的局面。 然而,若從學術的角度反思,現階段臺灣的客家語文與客家學研究其水平如何?臺灣客家語文與客家學研究的方法又如何?如何定位臺灣客家學?人文與社會科學研究方法如何廣泛的應用到客家語文與客家學研究之上?這些都是值得反思與探討的問題。 本文旨在將臺灣當前之客家研究歷史、方法及存有,加以反省檢討,並釐清何謂客家學,客家學的諸多面向、意涵,及探討客家學術研究的方法論問題。並提出:人文、自然與社會科學的研究方法,可以整合運用到臺灣的客家研究,希望客家學採用人文、社會及自然科學的研究方法,能提昇其學術水平,擴大其學術研究的廣度與深度;客家學研究的範疇並不受限於哪一學門?其研究主體不受限於所謂的「客家人」?其研究的方法也並不受限那一學科,而應該是全面又深入的多元科際整合工程。而且,客家研究不能缺乏客家語文之研究,因為沒有客家語文就沒有客家人,也就沒有客家文化。本文希冀指陳客家語文研究之重要,並指出臺灣二十一世紀臺灣客家學的發展方向。;希冀有志於客家語文與客家學之研究者,大家戮力以赴,共同為臺灣客家學建構而努力。 |
英文摘要 | Research of Hakka has already turned out to be one popular research topic in Taiwan. Ever since 20th century, Hakkaology has undergone different situation and environment. Not until the end of martial law in late 1980s and party alternation in power in 2000 when Taiwan marched toward its democratization did the academic study of Hakka language and Hakkaology have been stressed its importance increasingly in the civilian world and by the government. The prevailing condition further sees the establishment of department of Hakkaology in college and universities or Hakkaology research centers, making the research of Hakka in Taiwan step toward one new stage. Notwithstanding the prevailing situation for Hakka research, what is the level of study of Taiwan’s Hakka language and Hakkaology in terms of the introspection under the academic perspective? How to construct Hakkas’ characters? What is the direction for research into Taiwan’s Hakka language and Hakkaology? How to orientate Taiwan’s Hakkaology? How to apply the research methods of science of humanities and social science widely to the research into Hakka language and Hakkaology? All of these issues are worthy of further introspection and exploration. This essay aims to introspect and review the contemporary history of Hakka research, method and existence in Taiwan as well as to make clear interpretation of what is Hakkaology, the multiple-facet and implication of Hakkaology, and exploration into the issue of methodology of Hakkaology research. Furthermore, this essay will also raise issues about: the research method of humanity, nature and social science can be integrated and applied to Taiwan’s Hakka research in the hopes that Hakkaology can adopt these three research methods to elevate its academic level and extend its expansion and depth of the academic method; as the scope for research of Hakkaology is not confined to specific learning, its ontology of research is not confined to Hakka people, and its research is not confined to specific discipline, the research shall be based on the comprehensive and in-depth multiple interdisciplinary integration. Moreover, Hakka research shall not depart from the research of Hakka languages as Hakka people and culture can not exist without Hakka language. This essay also intends to give readers a clear picture of the importance of Hakka language and research as well as pinpoints the developmental direction for Taiwan’s Hakka language and Hakkaology in 21st century, in hopes of boosting and encouraging the research from those who have interest in the research of Hakka language and Hakkaology as the construction of Hakkaology needs everyone’s efforts. |
