中文摘要 | 本研究係將草莓果實品質相關特性做為草莓品種選育之評估參數,並利用主成份分析予以標準化後,建立以草莓果實品質指標為基準之育種選拔模式。調查11個參試草莓品種(Earliglo、Fresno、Fukuba、Harunoka、Sequoia、Solana、Tioga、Tristar、Tufts、桃園一號及桃園三號)之糖度、酸度、糖酸比、果實色澤(色彩濃度及色相角度值)、總花青素、總酚、總果膠含量及果實硬度等果實品質特性。所有評估參數經單因子變方分析,除色彩濃度外,品種間均呈顯著性差異(P<0.05)。主成份分析結果顯示桃園一號為所有參試草莓品種中果實品質最好,而Tristar、Tufts及Tioga之綜合指標分數近於桃園一號,可供未來品種改良之雜交親本。此外,主成份分析亦可將參試草莓品種之果實品質評估參數資料予以標準化,區分草莓品種間之相似或相異度。此以草莓果實品質指標為基準之育種選拔模式,可供日後草莓育種選拔之參考。 |
英文摘要 | This study sought to provide a basis for developing standardized evaluated parameters to judge strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa Duch.) fruit quality. Eleven selected cultivars (Earliglo, Fresno, Fukuba, Harunoka, Sequoia, Solana, Tioga, Tristar, Tufts, Taoyuan No.1, and Taoyuan No. 3) of strawberries were analyzed for their total soluble solid content (S), total acid (A), S/A ratio, fruit color (chroma and hue angel value), total anthocyanin content, total phenolic content (TPC), total pectin content, and firmness. One-way ANOVA revealed that there were significant effects of cultivars (all P<0.05), except to chroma. Principal component analysis (PCA) showed that the cultivar Taoyuan No. 1 was located at the highest point of the scores plot, and this cultivar has the best quality among the strawberry cultivars used in this study. The strawberry cultivars Tristar, Tufts and Tioga were located nearest to Taoyuan No. 1 on the scores plot, and those cultivars may be used as the parents for hybridization in strawberry breeding. The results indicated that PCA could standardize the patterns of data, determining which strawberry cultivars should be used based on their evaluated parameters. In addition, PCA could discriminate the similarities between selected strawberry cultivars. The model based on the PCA evaluated parameters of strawberry fruit quality could provide the resources for choosing and breeding new strawberry cultivar. |
