中文摘要 | 目的:本研究旨在提出適合檢驗部門主管評估檢驗資訊系統(Laboratory Information Systems,以下簡稱LIS)績效的指標,及探討影響LIS績效之關鍵因素,並建構檢驗部門導入LIS之績效因果模式。 方法:經文獻探討推導出研究模式,發展問卷,針對國內地區教學以上醫院121家檢驗部門主管進行普查,有效問卷回收率爲50.41%。運用路徑分析統計技術,來進行變項間因果模式的驗證檢定。 結果:LIS績效指標可歸納爲組織轉型構面的「檢驗自動化」、「檢驗資訊整合」,及經營績效構面的「顧客服務品質滿意」、「檢驗資訊處理效率」、「直接成本節省」、「檢驗帳務處理效率」等六類共21個指標。在LIS績效的影響因素方面,則包括組織情境因素構面的「高階主管的支持」、「使用者參與」、「顧客需求壓力」,以及LIS技術因素構面的「資訊品質」、「資訊服務品質」、「系統品質」等共六個關鍵因素。此外,組織情境因素,分別對LIS技術因素與組織轉型的預測具有統計上的意義,可間接影響經營績效;而LIS技術因素除直接影響經營績效外,同時可透過對組織轉型的影響,間接影響經營績效。 結論:透過本研究所建構之LIS績效因果模式,將有助於對LIS投資之整體性瞭解與認識,並提供醫療機構各部門層級之資訊系統績效評估之後續相關研究參考。 |
英文摘要 | Objectives: The major purposes of this study were to evaluate the indices of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) performance for laboratory directors, identify the critical factors affecting LIS performance, and establish a holistic causal model. Methods: Based on a literature review, an initial research framework and corresponding hypotheses were proposed. A self-administered questionnaire was generated after consultation with professional experts. The target population consisted of the clinical laboratory directors from 121 regional hospitals and medical centers in Taiwan. The response rate to this survey was 50.41%. Results: Based on the results of factor analysis, a new research framework and corresponding hypotheses were then proposed. These addressed organizational transformation, operating performance, organizational contextual factors, and LIS technique dimensions. The results of factor analysis indicated that a total of 21 indices were identified. These could be classified into six major groups in two dimensions: the organizational transformation dimension and the operating performance dimension. Two groups, laboratory automation and laboratory information integration, were included in the organizational transformation dimension. Four groups, customer service quality satisfaction, laboratory data processing efficiency, direct cost saving, and laboratory bills data processing efficiency, were included in the operating performance dimension. Six other factors affected the other two dimensions: top management support, user participation, and pressure from customer demands in the organizational contextual dimension, and information quality, information service quality, and system quality in the LIS technique dimension. The results of simple linear regression indicated that the organizational contextual factors dimension was statistically significantly associated with the LIS technique and organizational transformation dimensions, and indirectly affected operating performance. LIS technique affected operating performance directly as well as indirectly through the organizational transformation dimension. Conclusions: In addition to probing the impact of LIS on the clinical laboratory, and identifying indices of LIS performance evaluation for laboratory directors and the critical factors affecting LIS performance, a research model was successfully developed and tested to assess the factors that influenced LIS performance. The results of this study can be used as a reference as hospitals develop better LIS and justify investment in these systems. |
