中文摘要 | 囿於人力、物力、設備及相關知能的貧乏,國內國中小圖書館無法像大專院校圖書館般提供 e化資訊服務於全校師生。面對數位時代的來臨,如何協助國中小圖書館普遍 e化發展,奠定中小學圖書館事業發展的基石,是現今圖書館學界積極尋求解決的。本文藉助一大學社團人力,經專業培訓後於寒暑假期提供國中小圖書館自動化服務,自 2000年以來共協助 100所學校完成 e化作業。經服務後問卷調查得知:90%學校在 e化後,持續提供全校師生 e化資訊服務;多數學校無系統操作或經營管理問題;系統維護多由校內資訊教師或圖書館業務教師擔任;編查流模組仍學校圖書館最常使用模組;新進館藏多由圖書館業務教師及義工家長負責分編;參與服務的大學生咸認此服務學習是學以致用、又利己利人之有意義活動,願意繼續參與;而受服務的學校對學生社團所提供的服務表示很滿意。此外,提供專業人員培訓、諮詢管道及諮詢人力、定期到校進行監督以協助需改善業務、協助舉辦圖書館利用及閱讀教育推廣活動、提供學期間編目人力是多數受服務學校的共同心聲與建議。本文希望藉由個案多年來服務學習之實例調查結果,以提供國內圖書館學界在未來規劃所屬學生參與中小學圖書館服務學習時之參考。 |
英文摘要 | Constrained by the resources, including manpower and physical resource, and related knowledge and abilities, the schools libraries are unable to provide e-information services of university libraries for teachers and students. Facing the digital era, current libraries intend to actively pursue the solutions to assist the schools libraries for e-information development and to establish the foundations of library. The college association provided services to assist more than 100 elementary school libraries performing automation in more than 7 years. The questionnaires were used as the research data for this study. The results show that 90% of the schools continued to provide e-services for teachers and students after the automation services is completed. Most of the libraries have no problem in system operation or management. The teachers who deal with information and library in school take responsibility of system maintenance. Most of the school libraries responsible the cataloging duty are library-teachers and volunteers. The cataloguing, webpac, and circulation modules are the most commonly used in the libraries. Most of the participants think this service learning is practical and meaningful and they have strong desire to keep participating. Most of school libraries are satisfied with the service which college association provided. Providing professional training, counseling method and manpower, offering assistance for improving practical work and hosting library use and library activities, and providing manpower for cataloging during the semester are the common hope and suggestions of the middle and elementary schools. The study examines the results of practical service learning cases to provide library academy with information for the future planning of college students participating in library service learning for middle and elementary school. |
