英文摘要 | Cognitive coaching has been in practice for years in America. It emphasizes the change of teachers' inner thinking and cognition, and it is an effective model for improving teacher professional growth. The purposes of this article are firstly to summarize its meaning, goals, limitations, theoretical base, historical evolution, and practical process. Then this study discusses the literature and related empirical research results of cognitive coaching. Finally, this paper analyzes how to implement cognitive coaching in elementary and secondary schools for teacher professional growth, and provides some suggestions for experts and practitioner to plan and carry out the activities of teacher's professional growth. Hopefully, those suggestions can help to enhance the quality of elementary and secondary school teachers, and improve the learning of students in Taiwan. |
