中文摘要 | 本研究針對台灣某油墨廠46位作業勞工進行空氣採樣及問卷訪視,以評估勞工乙二醇單丁醚之空氣暴露濃度並暸解勞工之工作習慣。以被動式採樣器進行約六小時的個人空氣採樣,樣品則以氣相層析儀─火焰離子偵測器分析之。空氣樣品分析結果顯示勞工乙二醇單丁醚空氣暴露濃度之幾何平均值 (95%信賴區間) 為0.12 (0.08-0.19) ppm、濃度範圍為<0.02-1.82ppm。高暴露組勞工之空氣暴露濃度顯著高於低暴露組勞工 (幾何平均值:0.14 vs. 0.03 ppm,p=0.017)。此外,空氣樣品定性分析結果顯示油墨廠作業勞工同 時亦暴露於乙二醇單甲醚、乙二醇乙酸醋酸酯、間二甲笨等有機物;問卷調查結果則顯示作業勞工亦可能暴露於1,2,4,5-四甲基苯、丙二醇醚類、乙醇、1,2,4-三甲基苯、甲醇、以及鄰苯二甲酸二異壬酯等有機物,共暴露效應之影響值得進一步調查研究。本研究結果建議台灣勞委會現階段對於作業環境空氣中乙二醇單丁醚的八小時時量平均容許濃度值,有再檢討向下降低的必要。 |
英文摘要 | In this study, 46 workers were recruited from an ink factory in Taiwan. The subjects were performed with air sampling and questionnaire interview to assess their airborne exposure concentrations of 2-butoxyethanol, and to understand their working habits. All samples were analyzed by a gas chromatography equipped with a flame ionization detector (GC-FID). Passive badges were used for approximately six-hour personal sampling. The geometric mean value (95% confidence interval) of the airborne 2-butoxyethanol concentrations was 0.12 (0.08-0.19) ppm, with a range of <0.02-1.82 ppm. The high-exposure group was exposed to statistically significantly higher 2-butoxyethanol concentration than the low-exposure group (geometric mean value: 0.14 vs. 0.03 ppm, p=0.017). Some chromatograms showed that subjects were co-exposed to m-xylene, ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, and ethylene glycol monoethyl ether acetate. According to the completed questionnaires, subjects might also be exposed to 1,2,4,5-tetrarnethylbenzene, propylene glycol ethers, ethanol, 1,2,4-trirnethylbenzene, rnethanol, and diisononyl phthalate. Therefore, co-exposure studies are necessary in the future. After analyzing the results and comparing them with the results of previous studies on 2-butoxyethanol, this study also suggests that the Taiwan occupational time-weighted average level of 2-butoxyethanol be reconsidered with a view to being lowered. |
