中文摘要 | 歷史經驗和歷史記憶是創造群體認同的重要素材,經歷「傳統」與「現代」的對話、「返本」與「開新」的尋求歷程;原住民透過神話與信仰價值的重構,以確立自己的文化主體性,並進一步思考自我族群的存在意義,以及某種命運共同體的可能,期待掌握自我、排除焦慮。本文以李連《少年噶瑪蘭》作品為研究對象,從族群想像與歷史文化書寫的角度切入,透過族群歷史情境的重構,以及文本的分析與詮釋,試圖將作家隱藏在文本中的族群符碼「轉譯」出,呈現作者對於族群的理解、建構、想像及反省;除了探討書中投射了怎樣的文化想像與焦慮,也擬檢視身為一位漢人是如何的建構對於他者的文化想像。 |
英文摘要 | Historical experience and memory are essential for the construction of ethnic identity owing to the discursive process of dialogue between tradition and modem and that between returning-to-the-origin and bringing-out-the-innovation. By re-build their myths and the value of belief, the aborigine fixes up their cultural subjectivity. Further, the meaning of ethnic existence and the possibility of destiny community are examined and thereby both the control of Self and elimination of anxiety are achieved. Seeing form the viewpoint of ethnic imagination and historical-cultural writing, and by re-constructing the historical context of ethnicity and by text-examining, this article takes Li Tung’s Young Gamalan as the case showing how Li Tung, a Han author, imagines and constructs the Others. Through the process of discussion, it will also be revealed how he understands, constructs, imagines, and reflects upon the idea of ethnicity. We will see what the cultural imagination and anxiety are which projected into the text of Young Gamalan. |
