中文摘要 | 本研究目的是從組織及個人層面進行醫院員工健康促進需求評估。由醫院主管填答世界衞生組織所發展之健康促進醫院自我評估問卷,內容是從組織層面評估醫院的健康促進服務實施現況。醫院員工則是從個人層面填答健康促進服務的需求及其相關議題。25位醫院主管填答健康促進醫院自我評估問卷,回收率爲75.7%。533們醫院員工守成健康促進服務需求問卷,回收率爲88%。就組織層面分析觀之,醫院在新進員工的健康促進服務的提供相當完善,並且定期舉辦健康促進訓練課程。大多數醫院員工希望以講座方式獲得健康促進服務相關知識。最希望獲得的健康知識前三名爲健康生活型態、體重控制及婦女健康。研究結果得知,定期進行有關醫院員工健康促進服務需求調查將有助於推動醫院的職場健康促進服務。如此,不僅可以有效掌握醫院員工的需求,更能使得病人在健康的組織及醫護人員的照顧下治療病情。 |
英文摘要 | The aims of the study were to assess the needs of health promotion (HP) activities from both organizational and individual perspectives in one community hospital in Taiwan. Thirty-three division directors from clinical medicine, medical technology, nursing and administrative departments were purposively selected from one public hospital located in central Taiwan and they were asked to provide the information on workplace health promotion practice from the organizational level. On the individual level, hospital staffs employed at the hospital were requested to provide their health promotion needs and related questions. Valid responses were received from 25 (75.7%) of the 33 division directors and 533 (88%) of the 817 hospital employees surveyed. The data showed that the hospital performed well in providing the orientation programs of workplace health promotion for newly-recruited employees and planning in-house workplace health promotion courses for staff members. With regards to the individual level of health promotion practice, over half of the respondents answered that they exercised; however, only 18% exercised three times per week. The majority of hospital employees preferred to receive knowledge through lectures. The preferred topics included healthy lifestyle, weight control and women's health. It is important to conduct regular surveys to explore the needs of hospital employees and to deliver suitable health promotion activities. The potential benefit of so doing will not only be for hospital employees; patients, who are treated by healthier nurses and doctors in a healthier work environment will also benefit. |
