中文摘要 | 拜男性主導的社會價值觀之賜,「瘋子」與「女性」的連結關係遠比男性還來得密切深厚。雖然現當代的精神病理學努力將「瘋狂」從文化脈絡中除魅,但對於女性而言,此「魅」卻始終不能整除,餘數裊裊,難以退散。臺灣當代小說的女性瘋狂敘事中,開「荒誕鬼怪」風氣之先的,當是六○年代就初嶄頭角的施叔青了,但這些瘋狂敘事極有可能為六○年代現代主義思潮下的產物。到了九○年代,女性作家的瘋狂本事卻有了極大的改變,陳雪的喃喃自語在九○年代常見的「牢騷系」文學體制中並不陌生,從怪誕到自溺,女性瘋狂敘事的確有了相當大的改變。本文嘗試挑出女性瘋狂敘事中的兩個端點作為討論對象,在這樣的跨時空對比中,期望能看見當代臺灣社會中女性瘋狂敘事的精神結構與兩位作家在創作主題上的異同與轉變。 |
英文摘要 | The assumption that madness is attached more to woman than to man can be attributed to the male-centered social values. Although current psychiatric profession has tried hard to disenchant "madness" from the cultural contexts, it is still difficult to break the spell on women. Shi Shu-qing’s works, which explore female madness in an extravagant style, may be seen as a derivation from the modernist movement in the 1960s. In the 1990s, Chen Syue's writings continue the narratives of female madness, as her works present different aspects through persisting abjections to herself. This study discusses the psychic structure in narratives about female madness in contemporary Taiwan and compares the themes of the two women writers. |
