中文摘要 | 本研究係嘗試從中央氣象局地震測報中心所蒐錄臺灣地區地震資料中,計算歸納出臺灣地區可能之月平均地震活動度,利用網格化分析技術,在兼顧樣本完整性與處理時效的考量下,依序計算個別子網格內的月平均地震次數、月平均累計規模與平均地震深度等背景地震活動特性參數,藉此了解臺灣地區背景地震活動的各種基本特性。另外,對於任意一個需要研究討論的月份地震活動,即可依照子網格範圍大小,逐格分析標的月份的活動特性與背景地震活動特性的差異,並以漸層色彩圖綜合表現差異高低。此種分析方法除可有效判別不同地區的地震活動變化情形,亦可作為後續地震前兆研究的基礎。 |
英文摘要 | In this research, we try to calculate and interpret the probable monthly average seismic baseline in Taiwan area from the earthquake records collected by the Seismological Center of the Central Weather Bureau. By applying square gridding analysis technique, we acquired monthly average earthquake numbers, monthly average accumulated magnitude, and average earthquake depth in each sub-grid on the basis of sample completeness and processing efficiency. In application, any interested month could also be dealt with the same gridded analysis technique, and the differences between interested and monthly average seismic baseline could be estimated and represented by gradation colors. In addition to helping easily and clearly understanding special variation in each sub-grid, this analysis method also can serve as the foundation of earthquake precursor research further. |
