中文摘要 | 本研究探討學生英語聽力學習所遭遇到的困難。研究的對象為中華技術學院二專進修部土木科二年級一班51之位學生,以其三次聽力測驗的成績以及一次問卷調查的結果為依據,予以分析統計,並做相關性研究及詮釋,目地在於找出學生在聽力學習方面的障礙及影響其學習過程與結果之各種(包括智能及心理兩個層面)因素。因外,作者亦尋求不但能協助學生克服聽力的學習障礙,且有助於提升其整體語言學習能力有效的教學方法。 |
英文摘要 | This study sought to discover ESL student’s learning difficulties in listening. The participants were 51 civil engineering students enrolled in the two-year junior college program at a technical college located in Taipei. Through an analysis and interpretation of the data based on three listening exams the students took during two semesters of a general English course and on a survey conducted at the end of the course, the researchers diagnosed the difficulties that the students encountered in the learning process and identified the factors that could have affected the students learning and performance. The investigation involved two aspects: the cognitive domain and the affective domain. In addition, useful suggestions, theoretical insights, and practical applications in classrooms were provided to teachers of English to help their students to cope with learning difficulties not only in listening but also in learning as a whole. |
