中文摘要 | 目的:大學一年級是國內青少年發展自主性及獨立性的開始階段,於個人情感或生涯規劃上,面對重要的抉擇及影響,這時期若未能調適良好,可能對身心健康造成不良影響。材料與方法:本研究以九十學年度東華大學一年級全體新生為研究對象,應用不記名自填式問卷一份,調查學生的性格特質及生活適應,目的要評估學生的生活適應及其相關因素,提供生活輔導中心及青少年保健門診應用,作為規劃相關活動的依據。結果:回收有效問卷共825份,58.9%是男生,平均年齡18.5歲,24.0%當時有固定異性朋友,5.2%於異性相處上有很多困擾,整體上可歸納為三個項目:前途問題、家庭適應和學校適應;男生明顯較女生多有困擾,生活適應與自我接納(-0.44)及外傾(-0.13)是負相關,與神經質(0.44)為正相關;預測感受困擾的多變項分析中,發現自我接納最重要。結論:12.7%東華大學一年級學生生活適應上有困擾,學校的生活輔導和該區青少年保健門診工作同仁,可聯手合作規劃相關活動,協助學生建立良好的兩性關係、引導其及早從事生涯規劃,指導其設定「學習目標」,從事自我潛能開發,及增強其解決生活問題能力的訓練等。 |
英文摘要 | Objective: The freshman year in college is a time to develop independence and autonomy. Freshmen face critical choices concerning their career and romantic relationships. If they do not adjust and develop well, their mental and social health may be adversely affected. Materials and Methods: A questionnaire was used to assess the students' demographics, personality characteristics, daily life stress and associated factors. With these results, programs to improve their adjustment can be considered. Results: We collected 825 valid questionnaires. Of all responders 58.9% were male, with a mean age of 18.5 years old. About 28.0% admitted having stable opposite-sex friends and 5.2% had considerable difficulty making friends. Daily life stress came from three sources: future prospects, family and school. Male students more commonly perceived stress. The perception of stress was negatively correlated with self-acceptance (-0.44) and extraversion (-0.13), and positively correlated with neuroticism (0.44). Low self-acceptance was the most important variable in predicting stress perceived. Conclusions: Lack of adjustment was found in freshmen at Dong Hwa University. The Office of Student Affairs and adolescent health clinics could collaborate in developing programs to promote mental health. |
