英文摘要 | Jürgen Moltmann's ecological interest moved him from the human-centered world of Biblical creation, to the nature-centered world of Laozi. In this paper, I have tried to illuminate how different the relationship between the transcendent and human beings is between the world of Daodejing and the world of the so-called Christian tradition through a comparative study of the view of Daodejing by Moltmann, with the perspective on Daodejing by an American philosopher, Roger T. Ames. Moltmann tried to bridge the Christian world and the world of Daodejing. His points on similarities between Christian thoughts and Daodejing are interesting and provocative enough to merit serious consideration. Especially, Moltmann saw the dynamically dialectical characteristic in Yin-Yang of Dao, and has been influenced by Daodejing and Daoist philosophy in explaining the dialectical knowing of God in his theological epistemology. For Moltmann, the ”dialectical” way which he saw on the cross of Christ provides the key to understand the significant theological methodology as paradigmed in his perichoretic panentheistic trinitarian approach in his theological discoursing. Though he has challenged the so-called traditional Western Christian theology through the development of his perichoretic panentheistic trinitarian approach and has emphasized the indwelling God, in his dialogue with Daodejing, yet Moltmann has not seemingly paid sufficient attention to the world of the ”yiduo bufenguan” in Dao, resulting unfortunately in still adhering to the so-called traditional Western Christian theological views. |
