英文摘要 | �釮-dimethoate was applied either as foliar or soil application for wheat plants grown in a glass house. The applied radioactivity was 1000 and 50000 Bq for plant and soil, respectively. Representative samples were taken from plants and different soil layers 3 and 7 days after application. Rapid degradation was recorded in wheat shoots as 75% of the initial dose was decomposed after 7 days. �� C-dimethoate and/or its metabolic products showed considerable mobility and transport in examined soil. Observable losses in the applied radioactivity was due to volatilization and mineralization processes. However, these losses were slightly higher and more dynamic in the cultivated soil system as compared with non-cultivated one. The rate of degradation of �� C-dimethoate was high in the topsoil layer as the remaining parent compound was less than 2% of the initial applied dose at the end of the experiment. �� C-bound residues showed greater proportions in the treated soil rather than plant tissues. On the other hand, total extractable residues predominated in plant tissues, which indicated different metabolic behaviour for the investigated radioactive insecticide in plant and soil. |
