英文摘要 | The KMT administration promoted ”The renaissance movement for Chinese culture” from 1967. The movement seems against the Cultural Revolution of the People's Republic of China. But in fact, by the movement, the KMT administration attempts to mold the national Imagined Community inside Taiwan. The book, ”The History of Literature and Art in Republic of China” (《中華民國文藝史》) appeared in 1975 along with the movement. The KMT administration incorporate the history of Taiwan literature with the official nationalism in the book. First, the KMT administration assert they are the heir to the National Culture, unlike other ethnic groups in Taiwan. But on the other hand, in the book, they assert there is the same spirit between KMT members and some Taiwanese poets who lived before the KMT administration ruled Taiwan.By demonstrating the some classical Chinese poems of the KMT civil servants share the same spirit with the poems of the Taiwanese poets and regard these classical Chinese poems as the descent of the traditional Chinese literature and the Taiwanese literature, that was so called ”engrafting”, in the book. the KMT administration want to combine the official nationalism with the people in Taiwan as an Imagined Community in order to cement their power. |
