中文摘要 | 本研究係探討以雙酚A、環氧氯丙烷及丙烯酸為原料之環氧壓克力樹脂的合成,並將其作為預聚合體而與二丙烯酸1,6-己二醇酯(HDDA)單體依90/10、80/20、70/30及60/40(重量比)混點,加入Benzil dimethyl ketal光引發劑而調配成紫外線硬化(UV)塗料,分析其作為木材塗料之可行性。環氧壓克力樹脂之性質包括顏色、黏度、分子量、羥價、酸價、固形分及FT-IR分析等。UV塗料與塗膜性質則包括黏度、顏色、硬度、拉伸強度、耐衝擊性、附著性、冷熱循環試驗及耐光性等。經FTIR分析結果,環氧壓克力樹脂可以穩定地合成,其顏色呈淡黃色透明狀,Gardne色值為5.4,黏度約64,000 cps (25℃),重量平均分子量877,羥價為377,酸價為0.3,固形分為97.3%。整體而言,以環氧壓克力樹脂/HDDA=80/20(重量比)所調配成之UV塗料,其塗膜具有最高的拉伸強度、耐衝擊性及優良的耐久性,其他塗膜性質亦較為均衡,若能改善其塗膜附著性則可適用做為木材塗料。 |
英文摘要 | The objectives of this study were to examine the synthesis of epoxy arcylate resin using bisphenol A, epichlorohydrin and acrylic acid as raw materials and analyzed the properties of UV coating and films which prepared from epoxy acrylate resin and 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate (HDDA) monomer by the weight ratios of 90/10, 80/20, 70/30 and 60/40, respectively, and the benzyl dimethyl ketal as a photoinitiator was added. The properties of epoxy acrylate resin, such as color, viscosity, molecular weight, hydroxyl value, acid value, solid content and FTIR analysis were conducted. The characteristics of UV coating and films including color, viscosity, hardness, tensile strength, impact resistance, adhesion, hot and cold cycle test, and lightfastness were examined. The results indicated that the transparent light yellow color epoxy acrylate resin could readily be synthesized by the FTIR analysis and the Gardner color value of 5.4, viscosity of 64,000 cps (25℃), weight average molecular weight of 877, hydroxyl value of 377, acid value of 0.3, and solid content of 97.3% were obtained. Generally speaking, the UV coating of epoxy acrylate resin/HDDA by the weight ratio of 80/20 had the best tensile strength, impact resistance and excellent durability of films, as well as a balance effect on the other properties of films. However, the poor adhesion of this UV coating must be improved for using as wood coatings. |
