中文摘要 | 數位用戶迴路(DSL)是目前國內及全世界最多用戶採用之寬頻接取網路技術,2007年第1季止之全世界DSL占有率超過65%。目前除了用戶之寬頻應用逐漸朝向多樣化需求,DSL網路亦由ATM傳送技術逐漸發展至Ethernet/IP技術,如何兼顧網路演進趨勢及仍具備有效率的處理多重服務(包括上網、語音及視訊)之訊務,達到服務之品質要求與安全考量是電信業者DSL網路IP化之重要研究議題。本論文將針對DSL網路演進發展議題,提出IP化之網路架構及服務供裝技術,並說明Ethernet-based之DSL網路應具備之功能與技術,特別是Ethernet網路維運與障礙處理技術。相關研究結果已陸續實際應用於現場DSL網路建置,証明其之實用性。 |
英文摘要 | Digital subscriber line (DSL) is the most widely deployed broadband access technology nowadays. More than 65 percentages of broadband users adopt the DSL connections worldwide by the first quarter of 2007. One of the DSL network evolution trend is that its ATM aggregation network will migrate to an Ethernet based aggregation network gradually. How the lately deployed Ethernet based DSL network satisfies users' increasing demands for diversified applications and provides excellent troubleshooting technique is a vital issue. In this paper, we investigate the technology and requirements about the Ethernet based DSL network. First, network architecture migration and consideration are explored. Then the traffic management and segregation schemes for multiple services provision over a single DSL connection are proposed. We also present how to attain the end-to-end QoS requirement by means of smoothly managing the ATM and IP heterogeneous technologies. Finally, the operation, administration and maintenance (OAM) technology of Ethernet network is also considered. Moreover, the proposed schemes have been applying in the field and work well. |
