中文摘要 | 本研究之主旨係將目前各大專院校最常採用之各項英文檢定考試作一分析比較,並以樹德科技大學645名四技學生參加財團法人語言訓練測驗中心所舉辦之大學校院英語能力檢測(CSPET)第一級之測驗成績作為研究樣本,以歐洲共同語言能力分級架構對照表,解釋該項考試之成績意義及與其他英文考試之關聯性,並進一步分析目前技專校院學生之英文程度。研究分析結果顯示技專校院學生之英文聽力能力嚴重不足,平均之英文單字量僅有2000~3000字,且非應外系學生之間其英文能力落差甚大。整體而言,技專校院學生所具備之英文能力遠低落於教育部所預期應能通過全民英檢初級之能力。針對此研究之結果,對於如何提昇技專校院學生之英檢證照獲取率及相關之英語教學改進意見,亦將作近一歩之探討。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to analyze the myths and realities of various kinds of English proficiency tests. Common European Framework’s concept was introduced. Additionally, the example of 645 vocational university students’ performance on the CSPET test held by LTTC was adopted as a case study for further analysis. The results of this study showed that vocational university students’ English ability was varied, their listening skill was incomprehensive, and they only recognized about 2000-3000 words. Recommendations and implications regarding teaching English and promoting English learning at vocational universities in Taiwan were also made. |
