中文摘要 | 在台灣,進入公立幼稚園任教是許多幼教老師的理想,本研究希望探討個人的家庭社經背景與取得公幼教職機會的關係,以及父母親擔任教職者是否具有優勢效果?以分層叢集隨機抽樣獲得台灣地區23個縣市共1058個幼教師的樣本,結果發現父親教育程度越高者,進入公幼任教的比率也越高,而且父親或母親職業是教師者,進入公幼任教的比率最高;進一步以邏輯迴歸分析的結果顯示,父親爲中小學教師者,比父親爲其他職業者有更高的機會進入公幼任教,初步呈現出一種教育職業上的子繼父業、世家傳承的樣貌。 |
英文摘要 | In Taiwan, to be a public kindergarten teacher is an ideal for many kindergarten teachers. The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between family socioeconomic background and the occupational attainment of the public kindergarten teaching position, and the advantageous effect which parents are teachers on the occupational attainment. By the stratified cluster random sampling method, there are 1058 samples from 23 counties and cities in this study. The results are as follows: The higher education level a father had, the higher rate to be a teacher in a public kindergarten his child had. Moreover, if his/her father/mother is a teacher, he/she had the highest rate to be a teacher in a public kindergarten. Furthermore, with binary logistic regression, it shows that he/she had the far higher probability to be a teacher in a public kindergarten if his/her father is a teacher in elementary or secondary schools, compared with other occupations. It primarily presents that child could inherit his/ her parent's occupation career to be a teacher. |
