| 英文摘要 | In this paper, we propose an architecture for the Hexgon-based Motion Estimation which is a fast block matching algorithm. The proposed architecture is composed of six units, the address generator unit, the PE (process element) select control unit, the data flow control unit, the PE unit, and the MAD (minimum block difference) comparator unit. The computation of the MAD is mainly processed by seven PEs simultaneously for the speed-up purpose. This architecture is simulated by VerilogHDL and then implemented with Altera Cyclcone EP1C12 EPGA. |
