英文摘要 | In this paper, the accuracy and feasibility of using layer reduction technique in the interlaminar shear stress analysis of laminated cylindrical shells was presented. The derivation combined the conventional single-layer and multipme-layer shell theories. The composite laminate was grouped into a reduced one consisting of several sublaminates in the thickness direction. Then, the governing equation of this reduced laminated cylindrical shell was obtained by employing an interlaminar shear stress continuity theory. The closed-form solution of this cylindrical shell in cylindrical bending was used in the numerical examples to show the computational efficiency and accuracy of present theory in the analysis of thick laminate. It was found that in the thickness direction the cubic order of interpolation function and the discretization with four to six sublaminates can reduce the computational efforts dramatically and retain the accuracy of the predicted stresses within ± 7%. |
