中文摘要 | 網路應用於健康相關領域之情形日益增加,本研究調查台滇地區營養師使用網路之目的及使用國內外營養相關網站及學術資料庫情形。對象為台灣地區營養師(494位),採結構式問卷進行調查,資料收集採郵寄方式。本研究發現,89.6%營養師使用網路≧1小時撾,98.0%使用電子郵件,其中62.9%為每天使用。使用網路目的依次為取得營養新知(886%),瀏覽熱門活動及議題(55.8%)、與專業機構聯繫(49.3%)及疾病治療決策參考(40.8%)。醫療機構營養師使用網路目的在於疾病治療參考者高於非醫療機構(p<0.05),而非醫療機構營養師使用瀏覽熱門活動/議題比例較高(p<0.05)。在使用國內外營養相關網站上,99.6%使用國內營養相關網站,75.9%使用國外。醫療機構營養師使用國內、國外之醫療機構網站及國外學術相關資料庫網站比例皆高於非醫療機構(p<0.05),而非醫療機構營養師使用國外政府機關網站及商業性網站比例較高(p<0.05)。在學術資料庫檢索系統使用,59.9%營養師使用國內檢索系統,國外為51.2%;而醫療機構營養師使用國內外學術資料庫檢索比例皆高於非醫療機構(p<005)。結論:台灣營養師網路使用已十分普遍,營養師工作屬性可能會影響其網路資訊使用之時間、目的與學術相關之網站及資料庫,本研究結果可做為未來相關機構設立營養相關網站之參考。 |
英文摘要 | There is an increasing trend in Internet use and its application in health care. In this study, we attempted to investigate the use of the Internet among dietitians in Taiwan. Structured self-administered questionnaires were mailed to dietitians of the Chinese Federation of Dietitians Associations. Of the 494 respondents to the questionnaires, 89.6% of them used the Internet ≧ 1h/week, and 98.0% of them had used e-mail. Among these e-mail uses, 62.9% of them used it daily. The purposes of using the Internet were ranked as follows: searching for updated nutritional information (88.6%), exploring current nutrition-related activities and topics (55.8%), communicating with professional organizations (49.3%) and seeking evidence to support clinical decisions related to patient care (40.8%). We further found that dietitians at medical care institutions (MCIs) were more likely to seek for evidence to support clinical decisions related to patient care than those of non-MCls (p<0.05); on the other hand, more dietitians of non-MCIs used the Internet for exploring general activities and topics (p<0.05). In terms of use of nutrition-related websites, 99.6% of dietitians used domestic websites (Taiwanese websites), and 75.9% used foreign websites. More MCI dietitians accessed websites of both domestic-and foreign-medical institutions as well as international academic databases than non-MCI dietitians (p<0.05), while more non-MCI dietitians accessed government health administrative agencies and commercial corporations (p<0.05). In using academic databases, 59.9% dietitians used domestic databases and 51.2% used international databases. In conclusion, the current study revealed that a substantial proportion of dietitians in Taiwan have experience in using the Internet and information technology. The results of the current study provide valuable information for establishing websites tailored to the needs of Taiwanese dietitians. |
