中文摘要 | 《論語》<陽貨>篇「公山弗擾以費畔」和「佛肸召,子欲往」兩章,記錄家臣叛變,孔子有意前往,但後來並沒有去。這兩章令後人懷疑,孔子會去幫助叛變嗎?有關這個問題,筆者曾提出「一個事件,兩種詮釋」的觀點,強調《左傳》和《論語》對公山弗擾的行動有不同的詮譯,《左傳》沒有記載弗擾是叛,但《論語》認為是叛。本篇論文,筆者進一步探討,不一定要把弗擾召孔子的時機局限在孔子出仕之前。此外,也試圖回答崔述的「末之也已」和「夫子作為第二人稱」的疑問。孔子有意前往,反映了社會秩序的改變和權力的重組。至於這兩章為何能流傳下來,知識社會學可以提供理論的指引,晉人楊裕應鮮卑單于之召,也以「仲尼喜佛肸之召」為其出仕之理由,可見這兩章確有社會功能。 |
英文摘要 | Analects described Gong Shan Fu Rao and Bi Xi rebelled and invited Confucius to help them. Scholars doubted that Confucius would help someone to rebel. We discussed the question before and supposed "one event, but two explanations" to be a conclusion. In this pape, I made further discussion about the timing of summoning Confucius. The time should not be limited before Confucius being an official. Maybe it happened during Confucius quitting his job. Besides, I tried to answer the doubts of Chi Shu. Why two chapters can't be deleted by later scholars who respected on Confucius? I think sociology of knowledge can explain this question. Yang Yu, who bom in Ging dynasty, accepted the summon of another nations. He used the example of Confucius. So the two chapters provided social functions for the scholars of being an official. |
