中文摘要 | 利用校園廢棄物之一的乾電池回收處理後,分別取出其中之內容物二氧化錳、外殼鋅片及配合著者設計的『多功能微型氣體製備裝置』,在學校化學實驗中供作氧氣和氫氣的製造與收集,以及利用氫氣與著者設計之『微型氫氣槍』來演示氫氣的爆炸,利用氧氣和氫氣之混合氣與著者設計之『微型氫氧水火箭』及『微型氫氧混合爆鳴器』來演示真正有水又有火的微型水火箭之發射和氫氧混合氣點燃爆鳴的情形等,應用在學校化學實驗教學、環境教育以及舉辦社會大眾戶外趣味科學活動上,是一項非常吸引學生的趣味化學實驗,是非常實用之綠色實驗器具組合,可引起學生學習科學之興趣,使『教』與『學』更為生動、活潑、有趣,進而提升教學品質。 |
英文摘要 | Designs of some interested microscale green experiments for chemistry teaching and demonstration, such as microscale hydrogen guns, microscale hydrogen and oxygen water rocket, and gas exploders mixed with hydrogen and oxygen, are described in this paper. Plastic syringes, three-way plastic stopcocks, plastic boxes, electronic gas igniter, and some other small materials were used in these designs. The zinc and MnO2 were obtained from recycled dry cells. Hydrogen was produced with zinc and diluted hycrochloric acid. And oxygen was produced with MnO2 and hydrogen peroxide. By using multiple microscale gas generator, hydrogen or oxygen was collected in a 10 mL plastic syringe. With these simple microscale apparatus, experiments can be carried out easily and demonstrated or played interestingly. The total amount of chemicals used in above microscale green experiments were very small; and more importantly, those chemicals were easily recycled and reused. |
