中文摘要 | 在英語教學與測驗領域裡,篇章結構知能日益受重視。篇章結構知能為溝通能力所必需。理論上,任何存在的知識/能力皆可評量。測驗名稱是測驗內涵的指標。效度是測驗的關鍵問題。效度探究為持續性歷程。本論文標題裡Investigating這一動詞的進行式標記(ing)隱含此一持續探究之本質。鑑於量化研究可以輔助質性研究以檢驗測驗效度,本研究以量化方法評估--『英文篇章結構知能測驗』之信度、命題品質、輻合性效度、與效標關聯效度。 |
英文摘要 | Nowadays in the areas of English teaching and testing, discourse competence has received more attention than ever. Discourse/text competence is instrumental in communicative language proficiency. Theoretically, any competence/knowledge that exists can be assessed. The test title is an indicator of what the test assesses. In testing the issue of validity is crucial. Test validation is an ongoing process. The use of the present participle form of the verb, investigating, in the title suggests this nature of the quest. Given that quantitative research can complement qualitative research in validating a test, this study examines an English textual knowledge test, dealing with the reliability, technical quality of items, convergent validity, and criterion-related validity of the test from a quantitative approach. |
