中文摘要 | 首先,本論文利用CVSD(Continuous Variable Slope Deltamodulation)及G.729編碼標準比較藍芽1.2版新增eSCO(Extended Synchronous Connection-Oriented)封包與既有SCO(Synchronous Connection-Oriented)封包之語音傳輸效能。在AWGN 及Rayleigh fading 通道下的模擬實驗結果顯示,具備重傳能力的eSCO 封包可達成較傳統SCO 封包更好的語音品質。接著,為簡化3G 藍芽手機架構,本論文也探討3GPP AMR 語音壓縮技術整合至藍芽系統之可行性。在AWGN 及Rayleigh fading 通道下,我們以eSCO 封包傳輸AMR 編碼語音,並以客觀語音品質(SSNR)與主觀語音品質(MOS)作為評量標準。實驗結果顯示,三種eSCO 封包在一般的SNR 區間能提供可接受的客觀與主觀語音品質,其中又以EV4 封包之表現最佳。最後,我們實作一套藍芽無線對講機,將AMR 語音編碼器實現於藍芽系統上。實測結果顯示,此整合系統可提供良好的語音品質。因此,3GPP AMR 編碼技術於藍芽系統之整合應用確實可行,並具簡化3G 藍芽手機架構之應用潛力。 |
英文摘要 | Firstly, this paper compares the speech transmission performance of the Bluetooth V.1.2 eSCO packets with the old SCO packets by applying the CVSD and G.729 codecs. The results of experiments carried out over AWGN and Rayleigh fading channels indicate that with the supplemented retransmission mechanism the eSCO packets achieve better speech quality than that of the old SCO packets. Next, in order to simplify the structure of 3G Bluetooth mobile phone, we explore the possibility of integrating 3GPP AMR codec into the Bluetooth system where the AMR-encoded speech is transmitted using eSCO packets over AWGN and Rayleigh fading channels. Two evaluation standards including objective speech quality SSNR and subjective speech quality MOS are employed. Experimental results show that all three eSCO packets exhibit acceptable objective and subjective speech quality within extensive SNR ranges, and EV4 is the best among them. Finally, an intercom is implemented by embedding the AMR codec in the Bluetooth system. Evaluation results obtained from various indoor environments reveal that the proposed integrated system achieves good quality for speech transmission. Thus this research verifies the feasibility of AMR codec-based Bluetooth system for simplifying the structure of 3G mobile phone. |
