中文摘要 | 這是一篇以敘事探究描述布農部落少年在部落與學校之間學習的故事,原漢文化的差異以及部落偏遠封閉的環境脈絡,讓布農部落少年升上國高中後屢屢在學校學習中受挫,學習世界從寬廣的山林窄化為學業成就。我與布農少年小喝(化名)實踐互為主體的互動過程,透過故事整理這樣的實踐經驗,作為一種親近與瞭解布農族孩子學習狀態的途徑,給予沒有機會踏進部落、或曾經短暫接觸部落的老師與朋友,一個更深入了解部落孩子生命的機會,並透過認真聽這個故事的過程,看見部落孩子的學習在部落與學校之間拉扯,看見彼此在社會結構與背景的不同,進而帶來對彼此的尊重。 |
英文摘要 | This study applied narrative inquiry to explore the Bunun teenagers’ learning experience between the tribe and school. Culture differences and the closed and distanced context of the tribe narrowed Bunun teenagers’ learning environment from the forest to the school and frustrated them at the junior and senior high school. I invited Xiao-he, a Bunun teenager, to participate in this study. We tried to understand each other by negotiation, reciprocity and empowerment. The interaction between Xiao-he and me gave me an invaluable chance to understand the ways the Bunun children’s learning styles, preferences and difficulties in the mainstream culture. This story revealed the Bunun teenagers’ learning struggles between the tribe and school. I hope this story provides those who seldom or never contact with the Bunun tribe a clear picture of learning differences between the minority and the majority. |
