英文摘要 | The process simulation software, Aspen Plus, was used to simulate the PV-electrolysis hydrogen production model developed by International Energy agency. The model simulates the process of producing hydrogen from water electrolysis using electricity generated by a photovoltaic system, which also includes components such as separator, catalyst converter, heat exchanger, compressor, etc. The hydrogen output of the model is 280 mole-H2/hr with inputs of 40,000 Watt solar energy and 2,000 mole/hr water at 25℃, 1.1atm. Meanwhile, the cost of US$ 5,800,000 associated with the above process was also evaluated by using Aspen Icarus Process Evaluator (IPE) with built-in cost information. Nevertheless, the built-in cost information such as utility cost, fuel costs, labor cost, etc. can be modified to reflect local economic condition once they are available. |
