中文摘要 | 組織除了應具有將資源運用於成長策略思考的認知外,其應以何種類型進入新的 事業領域,其實也會受到資源類項的影響。以往的研究多以單一資源的特性為分析重心,雖 然在理論建構初期,其具有簡潔易懂的特點,但企業在面臨多角化機會時,是否僅以單一要 素作為可行性分析的決策因子,抑或是以多種資源組合的型態為考量,有關此部份的論證並 不多見。為了瞭解上述觀點的真實性,本研究乃利用個案訪談的研究方式,藉以初期驗證資 源構形觀點的存在性及進行後續實證研究的可行性評估。 本研究共取得臺灣 8 家大型企業 的 37 個成長決策的資料,經由分析與整理證實了廠商進行成長決策的可行性分析時,的確 會檢視多項資源組合的觀點來考量是否推行成長策略,而且也發現了資源構形與成長類型間 存在著明顯的關聯,這些關聯也發展出 9 個命題,作為後續進一步驗證的依據。 |
英文摘要 | It is important for an organization to recognize the importance of resource mobilization in formulating development strategies. The type of resources acquired by an organization also determines entering a new business territory. The previous study on this subject matter has often focused on the characteristics of one particular type of resources. This approach can construct a theoretical model with simplicity. However, it is debatable whether a single type of resources plays a key role in the decision process of development strategies when an enterprise seizes a chance to diversify its business scale. This problematic has not been discussed in previous research. Hence, through conducting interviews, this paper attempts to primarily examine the above research problems, to present the resource-configuration viewpoint, and to evaluate the viability of succeeding research. In particular, this paper is based on the analysis of 37 development strategies of 8 Taiwanese enterprises. Through further articulation, it is attested that an enterprise examines the combination of various types of resources while analyzing the viability of its development strategies. It is evident that there is an obvious correlation between the type of resource configuration and that of diversification. Based on this finding, 9 propositions are developed for further analysis. |
