中文摘要 | 以透地雷達探測地層時能將地層特徵以圖像方式呈現,如再經過適當的資料與影像處理,則有助於研判探測區地下狀況。 本文乃利用透地雷達進行地下遺址探測,調查標的為高雄市左營「外興隆營區」內舊城遺址,於中研院考古人員進行試掘工作前先做GPR探測,獲取探坑範圍各測線2-D地層剖面圖進行判釋,並組成3-D立體圖進而分割不同深度的水平剖視圖以進一步了解測區地表下之整體狀況。 經開挖發現,調查區地層中有石器、陶片、瓷片、磚瓦等文化遺物較集中區域,可由GPR探測出來,而埋藏以磚石構築的結構體與3-D雷達影像中之圖徵亦相符。比對探測與開挖結果,搭配透地雷達二維及三維的資料處理與影像解析,可證明透地雷達對於地下遺跡與遺物之分布位置及其概略形狀具有良好的探測能力。 |
英文摘要 | The ground penetrating radar technique (GPR) has superior ability to image geological features. Appropriate data processing and advanced visualization techniques can help in understanding and interpreting the underground situation. This paper presents the exploration of an archaeological site in Tzuo-Ying, Kaoshiung by GPR. GPR surveys were performed to obtain the 2-D radar profiles and combining them to establish the 3-D images. The archaeologist of Academia Sinica carried out the archaeological excavations, artifacts and ruins were obtained. The results show that the artifacts buried densely in the investigation layer could be detected by GPR. The underground ruins built with bricks and stone could be visible also from the 3-D images. By 2-D and 3-D data processing and interpretation, GPR is well suited for the application to high-resolution studies in archaeology. |
