中文摘要 | 研製縮墨鑄鐵已有多種方法被提出,然而方法不同縮墨效果亦不相同,而且成本 效益也是重要的考量因素。本研究乃採用較經濟又便利的不足量球化劑處理法,利用球化劑 添加量的控製來處理延性鑄鐵鐵水,探討鑄件肉厚大小及添加銅對縮墨鑄鐵的影響,以評估 產製縮墨鑄鐵之可行性。實驗結果顯示:不管銅的添加與否,當球化劑添加量為 0.9Wt% 時 , 在厚度 5-30mm 範圍內皆可獲得良好之對縮墨鑄鐵 (縮墨率 80% 以上 ),其機械性質符 合 ASTM 規範 Grade 300 以上。 縮墨率會隨著鑄件厚度增加而增加,因此機械性質則隨之 而降低;當球化劑添加量 0.6Wt% 以下及添加銅時,石墨形狀皆為片狀,而且銅元素有細化 石墨、促進波來鐵生成和抑制石墨球化之作用。另不添加銅者,當球化劑添加量 0.6Wt% 時 ,石墨形狀為球墨、縮墨和片墨之混合,無法獲得穩定之縮墨鑄鐵。 |
英文摘要 | This research studied the effects of section size and copper alloy addition to the production of compacted graphite (CG) cast iron. The CG iron was produced by the method of controlling spheroidizer addition in the processing of ductile iron. The results showed that when spheroidizer applied to molten iron in the amount of 0.9Wt%, and within the cating thickiness of 5-30mm in this experiment, CG iron of over 80% vermicularity (balance nodular graphite) was produced with or without copper alloying. the mechanical properties of the CG iron thus obtained conformed to ASTM Grade 300 standard. Also, it was found that the vermicularity increased (i.e. the percentage of nodular graphite decreased) when the section size of the casting increased. This has an effect of lowering mechanical properties of the CG iron. Copper alloying seemed to refine graphite morphology, promote the formation of pearlite, and restrain the percentage of nodularity. However, when the addition of spheroidizer was less than 0.6wt%, the iron treated with copper turned out to be flake graphite gray iron while the iron without such treatment resulted in a microstructure mixed with nodular, flake, and compacted graphites which can not be classified as CG iron. |
