英文摘要 | The main content of Marriage Rocking the World was the story of marriage about an eye for an eye. With a defamatory intent, the interpreter of portrays shrew as a woman pursuing her individuality. As the quite essential shrew in the Ming-Qing Period, the character of Xue Sujie highlights the conflict between unconventional characters and the orthodox view on the way women. The destruction of Xue Sujie’s moral character shows the intention of the interpreter of Marriage Rocking the World to use the way of god and use the way of women to educate people, which is in accordance with the pedagogic gist of the entire novel in the sense that the sacred nature and inviolability of use the way of god and the way of women is emphasized. In the face of a group of shrews, the Chinese traditional framework of male-dominated marriages and culture nearly collapsed. The images of shrew embody a kind of autonomous consciousness of the liberation of women. |
