中文摘要 | 就飲用水混凝處理程序而言,傳統的混凝方法事是以去除水中顆粒或濁度為主,對存在於水中之溶解性有機物的去除率則未有顯著之效。從多方面而言因這類溶解性有機物的存在往往會造成飲用水品質的惡化。因此,如何在淨水處理時能有效提高濁度顆粒的去除,並增加溶解性有機物的去除率,為一重要考量因素。針對飲用水原水有機物污染加重之趨勢,為能有效去除此類有機物,許多新的處理方法或觀念被提出,增強混凝即是其中之一,是以超量加入混凝劑來確保原水有機物混凝處理效果。而目前在傳統的淨水混凝方面,大都以硫酸鋁及多元氯化鋁為主,因其價格較為便宜。但是,以鋁鹽作為混凝劑可能具有使碳酸鹽硬度變成非碳酸鹽硬度、降低鹼度、導致人體神經失調的危險等缺點。因此,基於降低人體健康風險之因素,本研究計畫以天然幾丁聚醣作為助凝劑配合鋁鹽混凝程序,由實驗結果顯示,幾丁聚醣除能降低鋁鹽使用量外,並能提昇淨水場現有傳統淨水程序之濁度及有機物處理效能,並且有較大之混凝pH範圍。因此將幾丁聚醣使用在原水混凝上確實有其發展潛力。 |
英文摘要 | Conventionally, coagulation targets primarily for particle and turbidity removals without paying attention in removing dissolved organic carbon (DOC) from the water. But, the presence of DOC in water affects the drinking water quality in many ways. Therefore, how to promoted the removal efficiency of turbidity and DOC from the surface water has attacted many researchers. Among them is the enhanced coagulation, in which a large quantity of coagulant is introduced to depresses coagulation pH as well as remove DOC. Polyaluminum chloride (PACI) and Aluminum Sulfate (AS) are in widespread use as coagulants in Taiwan. However, recent studies have shown that aluminum residual in water is harmful to humans and animals. Therefore, the object of this study is use of chitosan as water purification agent which is produced from shrimp-shell. The results indicated that chitosan can not only reduced the dosage required of aluminum, but also increased the removal efficiency of turbidity and DOC and has wilder pH reaction range during coagulation process. |
