中文摘要 | 本文主要研究MnZn ferrite磁性材料的放電加工(Electrical discharge machining)(EDM)特性,探討加工表面的形態確認材料移除機構以及放電加工變數對材料移除率(Material removal rate)、表面特徵、表面粗度(Surface roughness)與再鑄層(Recast layer)之影響。以掃描式電子顯微鏡(Scanning electron microscopy)(SEM)檢查放電加工面與試件斷面;以定性能譜儀(Energy dispersive spectroscopic analyzer)量測再鑄層之化學組成並估計工具之成份轉移至試件的情形。實驗結果顯示材料移除率、表面粗度、再鑄層厚度與質量之轉移量與放電能量成正比。 |
英文摘要 | The objective of this research is to investigate the machinabiligy of MnZn ferrite magnetic material using electrical discharge machining (EDM). The morphology of debris revealed the mechanism of material removal. The material removal rate, the surface topography, the surface roughness and the recast layer were studied in terms of EDM processing variables. The machined surface showing resolidification was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). A qualitative energy dispersive spectroscopic analyzer was used to measure the chemical composition of the recast layer and the amount of migrated alloy in the specimen. Experimental results indicate that the material removal rate, the surface roughness, the recast layer, and the mass transfer were proportional to the applied discharge energy. |
