英文摘要 | The working media of fluid machinery is usually gas or liquid. Those fluid machines are classified as lowers that pump gas to increase gas pressure by approximately 0.1 atm to 1 atm. This simple classification makes various types of blower possible. Ring-typed blower is one of these. A ring-typed blower contains only three major parts: an upper cover, a lower cover and a rotor. It sucks in air from an inlet hole at one portion of its lower cover. Then the rotor pumps air through a ring shape tunnel constructed by both upper and lower covers to the exit hole at the other portion of the lower cover. After this process, the air pressure is raised. Experiments show gap value between covers and rotor significantly affects blower performance. |
