中文摘要 | 近幾年來,“合作學習法”的教學概念越來越受重視。對於合作學習被認為是一套不僅實際、正面且具助益的教學策略一點,似乎也沒有任何人質疑。合作學習的實行不僅經濟、容易實施,且有助於學生在學習成效及人際關係方面的提升。 這篇專題主要探究合作學習法的構成要素,相關之爭論、實施中所可能遭遇的問題和因應策略,及其成效。藉由此項研究,筆者擬找出經評估最適切的合作學習教學模式及其對學生學習成效上的影響研究結果。除提供老師們作為教學上之參考,期望能在老師改進教學及提升學生學習動機、學習成效、自信心、進而更喜歡課堂上的學習及與同學相處上能有所提升及幫助。 此研究結果顯示,對於各種合作學習法的運用,同學及老師們均給予正面的回饋。合作學習法提供同學在人際及學業上互動的機會,協助同學們成為負責且關心他人的人,這也是老師們認為相當重要的。除此之外,合作學習法亦讓同學有機會貢獻專長並同時改進自己的缺點。 報告中建議要成功的實施合作學習法應:(1)具備完善的課程設計,讓同學能自主學習,不用老師經常的介入輔導;(2)確認實施中是否包括了合作學習法所應具備的要素,尤其是正確的分組標準及正向的組員互動;及(3)將外在的獎勵轉化成內在的激勵與鼓舞。 而對於合作學習法在作者教學現場的實際執行效果,雖仍有待進一步以實驗法進行實驗研究,但作者將在新學年度於實際的教學現場運用合作學習法,並進行相關之行動研究,以期以實驗研究結果提出更具說服力之論證。 |
英文摘要 | In recent years, much interest has been generated in the concept of “Cooperative Learning” No one seems to doubt that Cooperative Learning, as a general approach, is a positive set of instructional strategies. It promotes student achievement and is inexpensive and relatively easy to implement. This research paper discusses reasons for using cooperative learning. The results are based on several research projects in using cooperative learning, components of cooperative learning, controversy of cooperative learning strategies, evaluated models of cooperative learning, possible problems when implementing cooperative learning and strategies to solve the problems. The aim of the research is to find out the evaluated, feasible models of cooperative learning and their various effects on student achievement, and provide teachers another instructional approach not only to help their students learn effectively and successfully, but to help them improve their academic achievement, behavior and attendance and to increase their self-confidence and motivation, and liking of school and classmates. The results obtained in the study reveal that students and teachers gave positive feedback toward the implications of Cooperative Learning. It provides students the opportunities for social and academic interactions giving them practice that can help them become responsible, caring members of society which most of the teachers think very critical characteristics for students to cultivate nowadays in Taiwan. Moreover, it allows each of the students to contribute his or her strengths and improve their weakness. Careful organization of the lessons is done so that students can work on their own without constant intervention, or inclusion of the specific elements of this strategy, especially proper criteria of grouping and positive interaction among group members. Gradual efforts to move the extrinsic rewards to the intrinsic ones are strongly recommended for the implication of cooperative learning to be effective. The effects of cooperative learning when implemented in the author's classrooms still need real experiments to be proved. It is the author's plan to apply Cooperative Learning to the classrooms in the new school year, to carry out the action research, and to find out its effects on student achievement in the school the author teaches. |
