中文摘要 | 本文主要就使用藍寶石基板之GaN LED,針對不同晶粒形成對於其取光效率之影響做探討,經由電腦模擬結果發現,當晶粒被加工成六角形時,其效率較傳統四方形提昇,若進一步加工成斜徵晶粒後,其效率較傳統立方形可更大幅提昇,顯示本法非常適合於製作高效率LED之應用。 |
英文摘要 | In order realize the effect of LED’s shape its extraction efficiency, optical simulation has been carried out for the GaN LED with sapphire substrate. The results show that an LED chip with hexagonal outline will enhance its extraction efficiency, when compared with the traditional rectangular chip. On the other hand, the extraction efficiency of LED will be further improved when the TIP (or truncated inverse pyramid) structure is applied. |
