中文摘要 | 本文引用英國人類學家AnthonyCohen “象徵界域"的觀念,說明社區中象徵界域的建構,可以建立一個民眾彼此認同的社區界域,這是強化社區認同的基礎,可以加強H社區意識"的產生。在討論中以台灣傳統社區中所有的"神聖空間"以及ρ祭耙圈砂、宗教儀式的觀念來解讀傳統社區中所顯示的象徵界域,透過界域中種種象徵(廟宇、影響範圍、宗教組織、宗教儀式,與有神聖意義的厭勝物等),不但可以讓人們對自己所屬社區界域的確認,更可以強化人們彼此的社區意識,以及對社區的認同。 |
英文摘要 | In the paper, 1 have quoted the concept of “Sym bolic boundary", which is initiated by a British anthropologist Anthony Cohen, to describe the construction of symbolic boundary in Taiwanese traditional communities. The concept of symbolic boundary is seeing the community as a cultural field with a complex of symbols. By means ofthe symbolic boundary, not only the identification of community can be intensified, but the conscienceness of community can also be arised. The various sacred spaces, religious rituals and religious spheres existed in Taiwanese traditional ,communities are applied in this study to indicate that Taiwanese traditional communities can be treated as a cultual field with a complex of symbols. (e.g. tem:. ples, boundaries, religious organisations, religious rituals, sacred objects with religious meanings etc.) Within those communities, Taiwanese people mark Key words: sacred space, symbolic boundary, reli- out their social identities and demarcate their sense of gious sphere, Yen-sheng object. similarity to and difference from other people. |
