中文摘要 | 採用對二甲苯聚合體進行紙質文物加固處理,為新近圖書、檔案等文物保護之應用技術。本研究在於探討各類紙張文物之對二甲苯聚合物鍍膜理想厚度,以求獲得良好之紙樣加固條件,評估聚合加固處理紙樣之人工促進劣化及抗黴性能。期能提供文物維護領域對於紙質文物大量加固處理的另一種選擇。 試驗結果顯示:2種對二甲苯聚合物(Parylene N, Parylene C)鍍膜處理對於紙張耐摺與零跨距強度之提升有相當顯著之功效。鍍膜處理對於紙張白度及顏色之改變並不顯著,以Parylene C較Parylene N影響為輕微。對二甲苯鍍膜處理有助於提升紙張之抗濕潤性能(接觸角增高),而Parylene C較Parylene N為優。採用5 µm之對二甲苯鍍膜處理對於Aspergillus niger,Aspergillus flavus,Penicillium sp.,Rhizopus sp.,Trichoderma viride等紙張黴菌具有抗菌性能,而Parylene C之抗黴性能優於Parylene N鍍膜處理者。 |
英文摘要 | The application of polyparaxylylenes coating technique for the paper strengthening is a newly developed technique for books and archives protection. The principle of paper strengthening is that the monomers of paraxylylenes polymerize into a clear film on paper fibers, during the deposition process the paraxylylenes will form polymer bridges at the numberous fiber-to-fiber contact points, resulting in a significant overall strengthering of the papers. It would increase the durability of books and archives remarkably. The experimental reaults inidicate that, the folding strength and zero span strength of papers increase remarkably after coating of polyparaxylylenes. The color change induced by Parylene C is less than that of Parylene N, and both are not singificant. The resistance of wet ability of coated papers increase after parylene coating, and Parylene C is superior to that of Parylene N. The conformal coating thickness of 5 µm polyparaxylylenes provides anti-fungal characteristics to strains such as: Aspergillus niger, Aspergilus flavus, Penicillium sp., Rhizopus sp. and Trichoderma viride, and the fungal resistance of Parylene C coated paper is better than that of Parylene N. |
