中文摘要 | 二十一世紀是以資訊科技為生活主體的世紀,從工業社會轉變為資訊社會的歷程,我們在社會、經濟、環境、政治上都歷經許多鉅大的變化。教育是大社會系統中的子系統,自然也受到許多衝擊與影響,「文化多元」與「機會權力均等」等議題更是與教育工作息息相關,追求民主、平等、公義、和平的社會境界,也就成為了多元文化教育的最高理想。近年來,「經濟全球化」這股不可阻擋的趨勢,更是加重全球教育推動的挑戰。隨著「經濟霸權」帶來「文化征服」、「國家安全」等衝突的議題尤其為全球教育增加新的研究課題,「全球教育(Global Education)」遂成為許多國家大力推展的教育方式。 在資訊社會裡教師有責任協助學生不斷與變遷中的社會互相聯絡並隨時更新知識與技能,然而在致力於中小學生文化學習與國際視野拓展的同時,國內全球化的全球教育師資培育策略與規劃卻缺乏相關之研究。本文主要綜整全球教育之意涵以及課程發展與教學策略之論著,同時分析國外獲獎師資培育實施全球教育的做法,期望提供國內師資培育實施全球教育作為之參考。 |
英文摘要 | As we enter the 21st century, much is being discussed about how increasing diversity and inequity in the globalization of the world’s economic, political, technological and environmental systems have altered the knowledge and skills young people need to become effective world citizens. Global education has become one of the emerging issues of educational reform in all school systems. The purpose of this study is to investigate the retionales of implementing global education in teacher education. The related concepts of global education and global perspectives are discussed. Also, the curriculum design and instructional strategies of global education are analyzed. Moreover, the model programs awarded by the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) are presented. It is hoped that through the discussion of this paper, suggestions for implementing global education in teacher education can be provided. |
