中文摘要 | 文明史,可以說是人把玩、操弄物件,創造工具的歷程。本文以傳播工具為例,試圖在主流意研究之外另闢蹊徑,探討一個在主流創意研究忽視的主題:玩物之中的創意。正文分兩大部分。首先指出研究創意之方法論應作重大轉向,解釋和工具的互動關係,必須揚棄線性因素的模式。其次,本文就如何設計傳播工具,提出一步的分析架構,建議從以下三個角度分析創意:一、操弄物性,發現其機緣源;二、評估機緣;三、組合和協調機緣。 |
英文摘要 | The history of civilization can be conceived of as a process of playing with objects, which culminates in the creation of new tools. In a drastic departure from the traditional approach to creativity, this paper proposes that the play with objects, which has been ignored by the mainstream research, can best capture the essence of human creativity and thus deserves serious research attention. The following is divided into two parts. The first part contends that creativity research, as far as its methodology is concerned, needs to free itself from the linear causal model of explanation. The second part then proposes an exploratory framework, using communication tools as an example, in which tool-oriented creativity can be studied from the following three angles: (1) How can the affordances of objects be explored? (2) How can affordances be evaluated in terms of their fit with the given context? (3) How can affordances be designed to be in concert with the other elements in the context? |
