英文摘要 | A novel design of a stacked, meandered rectangular microstrip antenna for dual-band operation is proposed and experimentally studied. The proposed design consists of two stacked rectangular microstrip patches witth the same size, and the upper patch is meandered with slits at the non-radiating edges. By varying the insetting slit length, the frequency ratio of the two operating frequencies is tunable in the range of about 1.11 to 1.45. Also, the two operating frequencies have the same polarization planes and similar broadside radiation characteristics. Details of the proposed antenna and experimental results of the constructed prototypes are paresented and discussed. |
