中文摘要 | 本文旨在從文獻中探討使用電子計算器於小學數學教育的利弊得失。本文共分成以下幾點討論:1)專業機構對使用計算器的爭辯;2)整合計算器於數學課程的益處;3)使用計算器於數學測驗的必要性;4)使用計算器於數學教學的限制與可能敝端;5)使用計算器對數學表現的影響;6)使用計算器對數學態度的影響。 根據討論結果本文建義:1)使學生體認使用計算器時,解答的合理比計算的速度與準確更重要;2)心算,估算,實測,與解題等教學活動應與計算器的使用相結合;3)教師對使用計算器的態度影響計算器教學的效果,因此,後續研究值得探討教師對使用計算器的態度與信念。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this article tended to explore the positive and negative sides of using calculator in elementary mathematics education from literature veview. The following matters were discussed in this article. 1)The controversy of using calculators from professional organization; 2)Benefits of integrating calculators into the mathematics curriculum; 3)Needs for using calculators on mathematics tests; 4)Limitations and potential deficiency of integrating calculator into mathematics instruction; 5)Effects of using calculator on mathematics performance; and 6)Effects of using calculators on mathematics attitude. Based on the results of the above discussion, the following recommendations were given: 1)Students must be able to recognize whether results make sense or not rather than just speed and accuracy for doing long and complicated computation while they are in the processes of using calculators. 2)The activities of mental computation, estimation, measurement, and problem solving are suggested to be integrated with the use of calculators. 3)Teachers' attitudes toward using calculators in mathematics classroom are related to the effects of using calculators. Then, the consequent study deserves to explore teachers' attitudes or believes about using calculators in mathematics classroom. |
