英文摘要 | Lima bean seeds were treated with saturated KC1 solution (RH82%) and incubated at 41℃ for 10 days to accelerate seed. Both treated and control (untreated)seeds were germinated at 15℃ and 25℃. The accelerated aging seed reduced germination percentage and increased the mean number of days to germination (MDG). The emergence percentage at 25℃ decreased from 93℃ to 10%, and the MDG increased about two days. Both the conductivity of the soaking solution and the amount of CO2 in the aging seeds increased. Seeds were classified into five patterns in TTC test. The sum of staining pattern 1 and 2 of the controlled and the aging seed were 87% and 47%, respectively. The correlation coefficience between the sum of staining patterns 1 and 2 and to the emergence percentage was 1.0. |
