中文摘要 | 本試驗之主要目的在於建立乏情季節乳用母山羊發情同期化與人工授精之技術,以提高本省乳山羊繁殖效率及加速羊群遺傳改良。春季乏情母山羊以CIDR留置陰道內11日,並於取出CIDR前48小時,每頭注射500 IU PMSG及125 μg cloprostenol (PG),母山羊於CIDR取出後38或44小時以冷凍精液或新鮮稀釋精液進行人工授精,並以自然發情及經公山羊自然配種者為對照資料。結果顯示,經處理之母山羊約自CIDR取出後21.4小時開始發情,並持續約27.4小時,自CIDR取出後38小時以冷凍精液一次授精所得受胎率平均為23.4%,惟因場別間之不同而呈現極大之差異。若將人工授精時間延至CIDR取出後44小時施行,或以新鮮稀釋精液取代冷凍精液,仍未能明顯改善受胎率。在春季,乏情母山羊以CIDR-PMSG-PG之處理方式,能使窩仔數自1.74頭提高至2.26頭,且不影響仔羊之育成率。本試驗結果顯示,本省春季乏情母山羊經外源性內泌素處理,能有效誘發母山羊之發情並提高羊群之窩仔數,惟發情母山羊一次人工授精之受胎率仍偏低。 |
英文摘要 | Estrus induction and artifical insemination were performed out of breeding season to improve the reproductive efficiency of dairy herds. Seasonal anestrous Saanen and Alpine does were treated with progesterone impregnated vaginal pessaries (CIDR) for 11 days. Five hundred units of pregnant mare serum gonadotrophin (PMSG) and 125 μg of cloprostenol (PG) were administered intramuscularly 48 hours before CIDR withdrawal. Estrus occurred at hour 21.4 following CIRD removal and lasted for 27.4 hours. Does inseminated at hour 38 after CIDR removal resulted in 23.4% of conception rate with the range from 14.5% to 33.3% depending on the difference of inseminator. There was no significant improvement of conception rate either by delaying the insemination time to hour 44 after CIDR removal (30.1%) or substituting the frozen semen with fresh diluted semen (40.3%). Eighty-four percent of does which were mated by bucks after estrus induction conceived. The litter size of hormonal treated does increased significantly without any increase of kid mortality when compared to that of control does (2.26 vs 1.74). These results indicated that fertile estrus of dairy does could be induced by using the CIDR-PMSG-PG treatment during seasonal anestrous season. Factors affecting the conception rate of does inseminated artificially following hormonal treatment needed to be further examined. |
