中文摘要 | 近年來正子造影已經漸漸成為癌症醫學及神經醫學上不可或缺的利器,不但提供了一種正確的診斷模式,也直接影響了癌症治療結果。本著人本醫療為宗旨,慈濟醫學中心也積極的籌設此一正子造影中心,並附設迴旋加速器及放射藥物生產設備。然而,一般護理人員對此一新技術仍然不甚了解,再加上正子造影使用放射性藥物為示蹤劑,且接受正子造影檢查的病人在注射放射藥物後也成為放射源,因此護理人員在與正子造影病人互動時,經常會有所顧慮。本文針對護理人員來說明正子造影基本原理及需要注意事項。 |
英文摘要 | In recent years, PET imaging has emerged as a powerful tool in oncological and neurological sciences. It not only provides an accurate diagnostic methodology, but also directly influences cancer treatment outcome. In light of this, Tzu Chi Medical Center has built a state-of-the-art PET imaging center with a full-equipped cyclotron facility for radiopharmaceutical production. Nevertheless, this technology is still new to the nursing staff. Because of the fact that PET technology involves using radioactive drugs produced on-site and that the patient after injection of drug becomes a radioactive source, nurses often show their concern over handling situations involving PET scan patients. This article is intended to provide the fundamental of PET imaging technology to nurses in contact with this new service and conditions they need to be aware of this. |
