英文摘要 | Damage assessment in the fragility curves of the highway bridge adopted intensity measures by PGA, PGV, SI, SA, MMI and various indices. Damage assessment of bridges subjected to scenario near fault earthquakes indicated that damage indices on the basis of intensity estimates of PGA couldn’t reflect damage states with fidelity. To increase the correlation between damage states and intensity measures, a methodology based on an optimal SI of the intensity estimate has been developed to create the corresponding fragility curves. The main feature of this methodology inherited a design-oriented calculation scheme, which involved performing dynamic pushover analysis with scenario earthquakes neighboring to the site, utilizing the SV spectrum to evaluate the optimal SI accounted for corresponding damage states. The comparison with other intensity measures, such as PGA, Hounser SI, and Kitahara-Itoh Si, relevant to damage index has been conducted to demonstrate the feasibility of this proposed practice. The fragility curves of a highway bridge based on optimal SI are also constructed to serve as damage assessment. |
