中文摘要 | 一、對主管機關、學校及民間業者之建議: (一)儘速成立國立教育研究院,進行課程與教科書之長期發展研究。 (二)各大學校院教育相關系所應開設教科書研究之課程,增加教科書學術研究社群人口,並提升中小學教師教科書專業知能。 (三)鼓勵學術界及博碩士研究生進行教科書研究。 (四)教育部應儘速推動系統性、整體性之教科書評鑑。 (五)民間出版業者應鼓勵其編者進行教科書之相關研究及發展。 二、對後續研究者之建議: (一)在研究主題方面,應加強教科書發展過程的相關研究。 (二)在研究方法方面,應加強質性研究方法的運用。 (三)在研究科目方面,除社會及語文學科外,數學、自然與生活科技教科書之相關研究應予以特別重視。 (四)在研究對象方面,國民中小學九年一貫課程教科書之研究應為主要趨勢,而高中職教科書之研究亦值得注意。 (五)今後之研究者應建立對「教科書」名稱的共識。 |
英文摘要 | This article gathers 272 domestic master's thesis and doctoral dissertations on elementary and secondary school textbook studies in the past two decades, including the two main categories of the content analysis and the developmental process of textbooks. Researches on the content analysis focus on seven categories, including teaching materials, curriculum design, illustration and text layout, language usage, and ideologies (political, gender-related, and ethnic-group related). Seven categories including policy, market mechanisms, editing, examination, selection, usage, and evaluation shall be the focus in the research on the developmental process of textbooks. This article engages in analysis through the content of the quantitative and qualitative studies, and based on the results of the analysis, some suggestions are as follows: I. Suggestions for authorities concerned, schools, and publishers: 1. The National Academy for Educational Research should be established to engage in long-term study of curriculum and textbook development as soon as possible. 2. Education-related departments in all universities and colleges and educational institutions should offer courses on textbook research to increase the number of researchers in this field and the professional knowledge and ability of elementary and secondary school teachers should be promoted. 3. Academic institutes, graduate students, and doctoral candidates are motivated to engage in textbook researches. 4. The Ministry of Education should promote systematic and integrated procedures for the evaluation of textbooks as soon as possible. 5. Publishers should encourage textbook editors to engage in textbook-related research and development. II. Suggestions for future researchers: 1. In the theme study of textbooks, the related researches for the process of developing textbooks should be strengthened. 2. In research methods, the qualitative research methods should be used. 3. In the research involving in the curriculum, special emphasis should be placed not only on social and language sciences, but also on mathematics, and natural and life sciences. 4. In research subjects, mainstream research should focus on the integrated 9-year curriculum for elementary and secondary schools, and the textbooks for senior and vocational schools should also be attended. 5. Future researchers should have the consensus for the definition of "textbook". |
