中文摘要 | 本研究主要的目的,在了解臺南與澎湖兩地區國小英語教學的現況,並建議未來適合國小英語教學之方法。本研究採用研究小組自編的問卷做為調查的工具,針對臺南和澎湖兩地區的國小英語教師隨機抽樣發出12份問卷,共回收11份的有效問卷,回收率為92%。藉由百分比及ANOVA做統計分析資料。 調查結果發現,有100%的國小英語教師同意:上英語課前應針對學生的需要準備教學內容、國小英語教學整個教室的學習氣氛很重要、英語教師的教學技巧會影響學生的學習動機、教師應重視學生的學習成就感、教學計畫要配合學生的學習興趣、英語教學法應考慮實際生活情境、教學法要多元化、教學法要講求隨機變化、國小英語教師應有自我不斷創新的教學法、好的英語教學法可以有效地提昇全民的英語能力。有91%的英語教師同意:上英語課時應注意學生的學習動機、國小英語教師的教學魅力很重要、英語教師應該善用情境教學、補救教學是英語教學不可或缺的教學法。有82%的英語教師同意:學生上英語課時能否專心與教學內容相關、教學前應先了解學生的學習動機。有73%的國小英語教師同意:教室佈置要配合教學法、寓教於樂是好的教學法。有36%的國小英語教師同意:上英語課前應事先了解學生的英語學習能力。兩個不同地區的受測者,對問卷的題目在0.05的水平上皆未達顯著的差異。 |
英文摘要 | The purposes of this study were as follows: 1) to understand the status quo of English teaching in the elementary schools in Tainan and Penghu; 2) to suggest the possible better English teaching methods to the future teachers. The research adopted the self-developing questionnaire as instrument. Twelve elementary schools' English teachers were randomly selected as subjects. Eleven questionnaires were considered valid and were dealt with by using SPSS 8.0. The findings were the following: 1) one hundred percent teachers agreed that they should prepare teaching contents to meet students' needs ahead of class time; the classroom climate is very important for English teaching; English teaching skills will influence students' learning motives; teachers should be concerned with students' learning achievement; teaching plans should cater to students' interests; English teaching methods should consider the real life situations; teaching methods should be multiple; teaching methods should be flexible; teachers should have their own continuous creative teaching methods; good teaching methods can promote people's English abilities. 2) Ninety-one percent teachers agreed that teaching English should pay attention to students' learning motives; teachers' teaching charisma is very important; teachers should make the best of situational teaching; remediation is essential for English teaching. 3) Eighty-two percent teachers agreed that students' concentration is related to teaching contents; teachers should understand students' learning motives in advance. 4) Seventy-three percent teachers agreed that classroom's decoration should be in accordance with teaching methods; teaching through enjoyment is a good teaching method. 5) thirty-three percent teachers agreed that before teaching teachers should understand students' learning abilities. There was no significant difference between the two-area teachers at the level of .05. |
