英文摘要 | To provide quality telephony service and to manage its traffic on Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), the Network Traffic Management Operations System, also named NTMOS, is developed. This paper presents the system's functionalities and features on surveillance, analysis, and control of the telephony traffic. It describes how the system works to solve the capacity issue when network failure or network traffic congestion occur, and how the traffic administrators can benefit from the system to better maneuver the traffic during the emergencies or on the special events. In this paper, the system architecture, control mechanism, alarm reporting, event analysis will be described. Finally two real examples are given to depict how the problems were resolved by the NTMOS system. |
